Vincent Gibson is the founder and CEO of the Centric App, that grabs Twitter, YouTube and Periscope streams and sorts them by location to show what’s happening around you. It's just launched in New York and the UK, allowing users to discover what's going on around them as far as 22 miles away. Centric app is currently adding 3,000 new users per month. Gibson, 49, is a former designer and developer who previously worked in digital production for over 20 years - including for BBC Scotland. He has also served as a lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University, specializing in online branding and digital trends.

This month, Scottish wind farms have received a record £5.5 million to shut down. It’s after hurricane-force gusts produced more electricity than could be consumed. August 7th saw winds blowing as high as 115 miles an hour, while demand for power fell to record lows. But Renewable UK’s Deputy Chief Executive, Maf Smith, told Share Radio's James Brydges that wind farms turning off was actually the least expensive solution.
