Do perks help you decide which job to take? Recruitment website Glassdoor, say that over a third of employees say perks and benefits are among their top consideration before accepting a new job. As most of us spend a majority of our waking hours at work, we want to enjoy our time in the office as much as we possibly can and so perks and benefits are an invaluable tool to help attract employees through the door. Thirty-five million pounds is spent every year and over 100 operations take place every day removing decaying teeth from children resulting in the missing school according to the local government association. A third of 12-year-olds are too embarrassed to smile because of the state of their teeth. Dental health professionals are hoping to improve this by highlighting three key messages for National Smile Month. Dental surgeon Steve Williams spoke to Georgie.
