Financial technology, also known as Fintech, is one of the hottest areas of investment at the moment and Britain is at the forefront. Startups are beating the banks by offering cheaper, quicker, online services. Today the Royal United services institute (RUSI) holds an event debating the following "Defining Fintech: actors, challenges, opportunities and financial crime". Google is set to announce a new smartphone at its San Francisco conference. The so-called Google Pixel will be Google's first smartphone made entirely by the tech giant. But some have questioned what unique selling point Google can bring to the already-full phone market. Matt Cox spoke to tech consultant and journalist Chris Green to find out.
