This week look at the lack of female entrepreneurs. The number has fallen for the third year in a row and according to Natwest, it's costing the UK economy £1 billion a year. But, plenty of women do start and run their own business. So what is going on? Recently we had another case testing the rights of gig economy workers. Self-employed cycle courier Andrew Boxer took the firm Excel to an employment tribunal arguing that he was a "worker" as defined by the Employment Rights Act - therefore, should get basic rights including holiday pay and the national minimum wage. His claim was backed by the Independent Workers Union of Great Britain and the employment tribunal agreed with him.
