As a nation, we have something of a love affair with property, but investing in property doesn’t necessarily have to involve buying a house or flat. In fact, it doesn’t have to mean you put your money into houses at all – you could invest in office blocks or shopping centres through investment funds. Cigarettes are being sold in the UK in standardised green packaging with explicit images from today, under new rules designed to cut the number of smokers. It comes after the world's four largest tobacco firms lost a legal challenge against the Government's new plain packaging rules at the High Court on Thursday. A third of 12-year-olds are too embarrassed to smile because of the state of their teeth.
